Question 1....I'm confused...what is Fun Fixins?

Answer 1.... Fun Fixins is your dinner party rental source. With place settings, complete dinner table settings, buffet set-ups, theme decor and even survival kits for family events.

Q 2....What do you do?

A 2....Fun Fixins will do event planning, catering, delivery and pickup of rental items, and setup and cleanup if requested.

Q 3....What kind of events do you plan?

A 3....Fun Fixins will do birthday parties, anniversary parties, weddings, family reunions, celebrations of life, dinner parties, bridal and baby showers,...each event planned with your personal requests as priorities.

Q 4….Some of the albums are labeled “rentals”, are they the only items available?

A 4….No, absolutely not….sorry for the confusion! All of the items shown are available for rental.

Q 6....I'd like to do a dinner party for 10. What would it cost?

A 6....All items are priced..a la carte. And you can rent the bare essentials, or have the entire event catered...so the prices will really vary.
However here are a few rental price examples:
....dinner plates            $1.50 each
....glassware                 $1.00 each
....cutlery                       $.50 per setting
....placemats                 $.50            ....therefore each place setting would be $3.50...and $35.00 for 10.
If you want the meal catered, the menu choices would determine the cost.
If you want a center piece or fresh flowers, obviously the cost would be based on your selection, for example daisies versus roses.
If you pickup the items and return them clean, then there would be no additional charge.
If the items are delivered and picked up by Fun Fixins in Lexington, Paris or Georgetown, the cost would be $25.00.
If you wish the dishes to be picked up at the end of the meal, and returned dirty, the cost would be $20.00 extra. So obviously there are many variables, we can easily work them out for you.

Q 7....I love the look of the buffet for a group, how much space do I need to set up the buffet for 40 guests?

A 7....Naturally you will need enough space for your guests to be able to mingle and move about comfortably. If you are serving finger foods then it is not essential that every guest has a place to sit. But it is desirable that there is somewhere to set their plate or drink.
The actual buffet table would be at least 12 feet long, 18 feet long if you have the space. The table will be 30 inches wide. It is wise to allow a 3 foot space in front of the table so that people will be able to comfortably serve themselves. Therefore the space, inside or outside should be 12-18 feet long and 51/2 feet wide.

Q 8….How do I get the items for my event?

A 8….The equipment and dishes can be picked up in Lexington and returned to Lexington.
Or, for a fee of $25., they will be delivered and picked up by Fun Fixins. This service is only available in Lexington, Georgetown and Paris.

Q 9….If I pick up the items myself, will there be any instructions for setup and use?

A 9….Yes, there certainly will be instructions. All place settings will have a diagram included for your convenience. All cooking or serving tools and equipment will have the instruction book included. Also, we will be happy to walk you through the experience on the phone when the final arrangements are made.

Q 10….How would I pay?

A 10….One half of the amount is due when the contract is signed. The balance is due when the goods are delivered or picked up. The method of payment would be cash or check. A paypal account is being established for your convenience in the future.
